An Ode To My Hair

A Word to my Once Long Tresses:

We were together five years
And you helped me with my beauty fears
Never the reason for tears
All through those years

Oh, my dear long hair
Life isn't fair.
Oh, my dear long hair
Oh, how I miss ya.

You were my friend
Even until the end
And I wish that now, I could bend
Or at least tend
The short locks surrounding my face
That took your place.

Oh, my dear long hair
Life isn't fair
Oh, my dear long hair
Oh, how I miss ya.

I did not weep at your grave
Instead, I felt very brave
But now I crave
For you, whom I thought not to save.

Oh, my dear long hair
Life isn't fair
Oh, my dear long hair
Oh, how I miss ya.
